Our Teacher to Child Ratio
Bostley’s Child Care Centers Inc. adheres to the Pennsylvania State Requirements for Teacher/Child Ratio. These numbers are as follows:
Infants
1 Adult: 4 Infants
One-Year-Olds
1 Adult: 5 children
Two-Year-Olds
1 Adult: 6 children
Three-Year-Olds
1 Adult: 10 children
Four-Year-Olds
1 Adult: 10 children
Kindergartners
1 Adult: 12-15 children
Our Curriculum
Our centers utilize the Core Knowledge Preschool Curriculum (not to be confused with Common Core). This curriculum was developed by E.D. Hirsch and is presented in the “What your Preschooler, Kindergartner, First Grader, etc., Needs to Know” series of books. This is an engaging curriculum that provides a knowledge base for future learning. We follow the Pennsylvania State Standards for Infant, Toddlers, & Preschools.
